Natalie is a current Rochester Institute of Technology student studying medical illustration and cognitive neuroscience. Her artwork is inspired by the intricacies of the mind and the complexities of shared memories and bonds between people. She has a wide variety of aesthetic influences ranging from the delicacy and refinement of the portrait painters of the 19th century, to the textures and material use of certain contemporary artists. Working primarily in oils, she focuses on capturing what's raw and natural, and contextualizing it in something that feels dreamy and surreal. She is influenced by her love for humanity, science, and her fascination with life's little moments.
